Alluvionic awarded 8(a) STARS III GWAC
Company selected for Best-in-Class small business set-aside contract
Melbourne, Fla. (February 14, 2021) – Alluvionic, Inc., a local project management, process improvement, cybersecurity and product development services firm, has been awarded the 8(a) STARS III government wide acquisition contract. This multiple-award indefinite-delivery / indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract enables federal agencies to access solutions from approved Small Business Administration (SBA) 8(a) certified small businesses. The contract vehicle provides for a five-year base contract with one three-year option.
The 8(a) STARS III contract is awarded to qualified 8(a) certified companies through the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA). Considered a Best-in-Class small business set-aside, the contract vehicle creates a streamlined process for individual government agencies to secure customized IT solutions through a group of pre-vetted, pre-qualified small businesses in a cost and time efficient manner. The contract reduces risk and enables government customers to receive critical services at a more rapid rate through reduced procurement lead time.

GSA established the 8(a) STARS III contract to address expanding requirements for emerging technology solutions. The Scope of the program is centered on North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) codes related to a wide range of IT and cybersecurity services and ancillary support.
