Wendy Romeu is a highly experienced Project Manager and Process Improvement specialist with over 30 years of industry expertise. In 2013, she founded Alluvionic, a successful business that specializes in providing Project Assurance® to clients by implementing best-in-class project management tools and techniques. Under her leadership, the company has diversified its portfolio by adding engineering & cybersecurity capabilities to its list of services and has accelerated rapidly.
Wendy’s deep understanding of Project Management, along with her team, allows them to spearhead wide-scale Process Improvement, CMMI®, CMMC, ISO, PMO, and ERP deployments across diverse sectors. Her commitment to hiring and nurturing veterans earned Alluvionic the HIRE Vets Medallion Program Award in 2022 & 2023.
Wendy is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®), Six Sigma Black Belt, and Leadership Brevard graduate. Wendy has lent her expertise to various boards throughout the country, including APICS, Economic Development Commission (EDC) of Florida’s Space Coast, Fourth Shift ERP User’s Groups, Junior Achievement of the Space Coast, Leadership Brevard, weVENTURE, FUUN (the Florida Unanet Users Group) and the Tourette Association of America Florida Chapter. In recognition of her outstanding achievements, Wendy was named the SBA’s Woman-Owned Small Businessperson of the Year for the South Florida District and the State of Florida. Sean Trumbull, Chief Financial Officer, joined our team in 2023. With his years of experience in financial leadership roles, Sean brings a wealth of expertise and strategic vision to our organization.
Having served as a CFO in his previous company and prior to that as a Controller, Sean has honed his skills in financial management, analysis, and strategy over the course of his distinguished career. His extensive experience and proven track record make him an asset to the Alluvionic executive team.
A graduate of the State University of New York at Albany, Sean has a solid foundation in financial education and a deep understanding of complex financial systems. His academic achievements coupled with his hands-on experience in various financial roles equip him with the knowledge and insight necessary to drive our company’s financial success.
As our CFO, Sean plays a pivotal role in overseeing our financial operations, guiding strategic decision-making, and ensuring fiscal responsibility across the organization. His leadership, integrity, and dedication to excellence are instrumental in driving our company’s growth and prosperity.
Jason Souza is the Chief Growth Officer (CGO) at Alluvionic, bringing a wealth of experience in driving government strategies and emphasizing business development and execution. He joined the company in March 2024, with a mission to lead initiatives that significantly contribute to the organization’s growth and success.
Prior to his current role, Jason served as the Senior Director (VP) of Training Programs at National Security Solutions with Amentum (Formerly PAE) in Orlando, Florida. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in overseeing multiple contracts and was instrumental in expanding and securing new business opportunities.
Jason is a graduate of Park University, holding a Master of Arts Degree in Communications and Leadership and a graduate of State University of New York with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications. Jason’s educational achievements are further complemented by executive leadership courses from University of California Berkeley Center for Executive Education, Yale School of Management and Columbia Business School.
With an extensive background in military service, Jason retired from the U.S. Army as an officer after dedicating 24 years to serving our country. His leadership skills, strategic acumen, and commitment to excellence make him an asset to Alluvionic, driving growth and innovation in government strategies and business development.
A proven Project Management Professional, Elizabeth “Lizi” Huy is the Executive VP of Commercial Services at Alluvionic, where she utilizes her 17 years of experience developing and implementing projects to fulfill business needs.
Elizabeth is a driven and strategic leader and collaborator, as well as an accomplished public speaker and communicator. Her skills include economic development, business development, program management, public speaking, leadership, marketing, strategic planning, and fundraising.
Huy is a graduate of Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Marketing. She is also a PMP (Project Management Professional) and a graduate of Leadership Brevard. She has held positions at companies such as Coldwell Banker Commercial, ACG Promotions and Specialties, and the Economic Development Commission of Florida’s Space Coast, where she directed an existing industry program of work leading a team of three full-time direct reports. Additionally, she represented the organization as a public speaker in multiple venues and media interviews.
Elizabeth has been recognized by LEAD Brevard as a 4 under 40 finalist in 2013 and 2018, as well as being named “One to Watch” by Florida Today in 2014.
With over 25 years of engineering experience, Ricardo Romeu serves as the Senior Vice President of Product Development at Alluvionic, where he manages a team of highly skilled engineering resources and is effective in creating functional technical strategies for system level performance and customer focus.
Since joining Alluvionic in 2014, Ricardo’s expertise in design solution and business development created a 50% YOY growth in engineering and product development. Additionally, he developed cosmetic injection molded housings, doors, and structural weldment frames for medical device CM.
Romeu is a graduate of Le Moyne College with a Bachelor of Science in Physics, with a minor in Math and Spanish. During his career, Ricardo has been granted 4 patents, 9 filings, and 2 published. He is a certified KEMA Auditor, and holds a Motorola Lean Six Sigma Certification. Before Alluvionic, Romeu worked as an engineer at multiple companies around Florida, including Lighting Science Group, DRS Tactical System, Proside Inc, Motorola, and Rand Worldwide. His core competencies include system architecture, product management, plastic injection molding/casting DFX, tolerance analysis and allocation, and MRD/PRD derivation and development.
Additionally, Romeu has led many successful projects throughout his career. He led the redesign of established roadway LED lights creating a 13% average margin increase with net zero NRE. He increased optical performance by 20% and light output by 30% of legacy modular roadway lighting line to create competitive specifications allowing for a 13% margin increase. The redesign allowed for additional margin from the use of E&O inventory through flexible design. Romeu also led an interdisciplinary team designing an industry leading roadway luminaire. He and his team developed the most robust 3G vibration and thermal margin roadway fixture in company history in 3 months, leading to an expandable platform for the largest company emerging market order with a 99.98% QA reliability. He drove efficiency by designing individual functional parts into single injection molded system. He integrated multiple individual part functions into a 3G vibration dock, reducing the part count by 50% and the cost by 33% using an innovative plastic beam design and structural injection molded materials to increase manufacturing throughout, and increase system quality.
Robyn Zampella joined Alluvionic in 2024 as Vice President of Enterprise Programs, bringing extensive expertise in project management, ERP implementations, and process improvements. She is a certified PMP (Project Management Professional) since 2013 and holds certification as a Unanet GovCon ERP implementer. Robyn oversees the commercial services line for ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration), and ISO process improvement. A graduate of Strayer University in Arlington, Virginia. Robyn earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting with Summa Cum Laude honors.
Prior to joining Alluvionic Robyn served as the Managing Director, Consulting Services for Cherry Bekaert (formerly Cordia Partners), where she led the Unanet GovCon Consulting Practice. In this role, Robyn managed growth, resources and all aspects of implementation and consulting activities, consistently driving improved efficiency, cost savings, and client satisfaction.
Robyn is recognized for her collaborative approach, innovative problem-solving skills, and dedication to customer satisfaction. Her commitment to excellence and passion for understanding customer needs ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions, making her a valuable asset to the Alluvionic team.
Jason Havel is an accomplished Project Manager, Program Manager, and leader with more than 23 years of experience in planning and operations to include cost, schedule, and contractual requirements for internal and external projects and programs.
Jason joined the Alluvionic team in 2020, and currently serves as the Vice President of Strategy and Business Development, bringing his extensive knowledge of project and program management, process improvement, and leadership.
He spent 20 years in the U.S. Air Force, where he was a KC-135 and C-130 Navigator and most recently the commander of the Department of Defense Human Spaceflight support to NASA. He retired as a Lieutenant Colonel and holds degrees from the Air Command and Staff College, Webster University, and Western Michigan University. He is PMP certified and an expert educator and instructor.
Our Director of Business Development, Will Bussey, is a driven and successful leader. Will served our country in the United States Army Reserve and the Florida National Guard and has also worked in corporate America in government affairs,
business development, and marketing roles. He is a seasoned customer service professional with a wealth of experience in marketing, sales, and relationship building.
Will has a proven track record of success, consistently delivering positive results through his exceptional problem-solving skills and negotiation expertise. His diverse background and strategic approach makes him a great fit on the Alluvionic team.
Proficient in various aspects of sales and marketing, Will brings expertise in account management, sales management, consultative selling, and B2B interactions to his role. His strategic vision and tactical execution ensure effective brand positioning and engagement with the target audience, making him an asset to our team.
Adam Harris is a seasoned and accomplished project and program manager with a distinguished career in both operational and strategic leadership. With significant expertise in aerospace and technology domains, he has extensive experience in test and development processes. Adam joined Alluvionic in 2024, where he currently serves as the Director of Government Programs, overseeing key initiatives such as SBIR and STTR projects.
A retired United States Air Force Lieutenant Colonel, Adam brings over two decades of leadership and technical proficiency to his role. He accumulated nearly 2,000 flight hours as an HC/MC-130J Evaluator and Instructor Combat Systems Officer, with a focus on Developmental and Operational Test of the HC/MC-130J aircraft. His leadership trajectory includes serving as a Commander in Air Force Space Command and most recently as a Senior Executive Officer and program manager in the Air Force Futures Directorate at the Pentagon.
Adam holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and earned degrees from the University of New Mexico and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
Megan Patel is the Senior HR Manager at Alluvionic, where she leads the HR department, driving effective HR strategies that support both organizational goals and employee satisfaction. She has been with Alluvionic since 2021, playing a key role in enhancing the company’s HR functions and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Megan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida. Recognized for her leadership and impact, she received the Space Coast Business Under 40 Award in 2019 and is an alumna of WeVenture’s Athena NextGen program.
