Alluvionic Expands Business Line, Awarded GSA Schedule Contract

Alluvionic, a Melbourne-based, woman-owned, 8(a) certified solutions provider, announced it was awarded a GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) Contract.  This five-year U.S. federal government contract is renewable to 20 years and establishes through vigorous evaluation that Alluvionic has fair pricing, experience, financial stability, and is identified as highly capable and qualified for government contracts.  There are just under 12,000 small businesses operating under the GSA MAS Contract with sales increasing by 16% over the past five years to a 2018 total of $13.6 billion.

“We are thrilled to be a GSA Professional Services Schedule holder and know this contract will make it easier and faster for government agencies to purchase our services,” explained Wendy Romeu, president and CEO of Alluvionic.

A 2019 Congressional Research Service report identified that the federal government had difficulty meeting the federal prime contract award goals of five percent awards to woman-owned small business.  In noting these statistics, Romeu said, “Alluvionic is here to help the government meet those goals, and we look forward to the new opportunities it will bring.”

There are multiple benefits of purchasing from the GSA Multiple Award Schedule.  Government buyers do not need to draft or post the solicitation, announce or post an award, and search through countless offers.  It is in full compliance with the Federal Competition in Contract Act (FCICA) and the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). Compared to 180 days when purchasing through a “full and open competition,” the average time from the GSA Schedule to receive the desired products or services is 30 days.
