How CORE™ Cybersecurity Solutions Works: Based on the Center for Internet Security (CIS) cybersecurity controls and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) cybersecurity standards and best practices CORE™ focuses on people, processes and technical infrastructure by assessing.

Step 1: CORE™ Cybersecurity Risk Assessment

Start at the CORE™. This expert led assessment creates a baseline of your organization’s cybersecurity posture against cybersecurity fundamental best practices aligned with CIS and NIST standards. The CORE™ Assessment is completed remotely over the course of 6-10 days depending on resource availability.

Step 2: CORE™ Cybersecurity Plan

CORE™ plan for resiliency. Implementing your CORE™ cybersecurity capabilities starts with defining the overarching governance policy, ensuring your workforce is aware and trained to mitigate risk and establishing an incident response plan.

The CORE™ Cybersecurity Plan includes:

Cybersecurity Governance Policy – High-level policy defining how your organization will manage cybersecurity risk aligned with CIS and NIST standards and best practices.
Employee Awareness & Training Plan – Tailored cybersecurity awareness and training plan including a train the trainer session to empower internal ownership.
Incident Response Plan – Basic Incident Response Plan to identify critical information and systems to enable rapid response and accelerate recovery in the event of an incident. The IR Plan includes: Roles and responsibilities matrix, Communication Plan, Reporting checklist, Incident response test exercise plan.

The CORE™ Cybersecurity plan is completed remotely over the course of 4-6 weeks depending on resource availability.

Step 3: CORE™ Cybersecurity Implementation Support

A strong foundational cybersecurity CORE™ may require implementing new processes and technological solutions. Alluvionic will work with you and your chosen IT provider to prioritize and remediate findings from the CORE™ Risk Assessment. Service delivery will include project management support and a Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead remediation of identified and prioritized cybersecurity practice areas.

CORE™ Cybersecurity Implementation Support is completed remotely with optional onsite support as needed. The duration and budget for this process will be determined based on priorities and structured on a time & materials contract basis.

Step 4: CORE™ Sustainment Assessment

CORE™ cybersecurity sustainment comes with consistent exercise of your capabilities and ongoing process improvement. Alluvionic will provide CORE™ Sustainment support via an annual cybersecurity revalidation assessment of policy, process, and technical implementations. As your company grows, new opportunities and risks will arise. Newly identified risks are documented with recommendations for improvement.

The CORE™ Sustainment Assessment is completed remotely over the course of 5-8 days depending on resource availability.
