GrowFL’s Statewide Awards Program Recognizes Unique, Scalable High-Growth Companies
Alluvionic, an innovative solutions provider that services clients with any project in any industry through project management, process improvement and engineering product design, is proud to announce it has been selected as an honoree of the 2018 Florida Companies to Watch ™, an award presented by GrowFL, the Florida Economic Gardening Institute in association with the Edward Lowe Foundation.
More than 500 companies were nominated from across the state of Florida, vying for the prestigious recognition as one of this year’s winners. Alluvionic’s management team, competitive market position and strong community involvement were among several factors evaluated for the award. The 50 winners selected this year are expected to see significant growth over the next several years, according to GrowFL. The 50 companies named the 2018 Florida Companies to Watch generated nearly $1 billion in revenue and added nearly 1,000 jobs between 2014 and 2017. Federal Business Development Program Offers Access to New Economic Opportunities to Develop and Grow this Brevard County Business

After completing an extensive application and certification process to ensure it met the program’s high standards, Alluvionic was granted entrance into the coveted federal program on September 6, 2018.
The Alluvionic Project Management (PM) Bootcamp held in August, was a tremendous success! Our four-day consecutive week boot camp style course prepped students for the Project Management Professional (PMP)® exam and provided a full picture of project management.
The PM Bootcamp was designed to teach participants industry-standard project management and prepare them to successfully complete the PMP® exam or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® certification. Obtaining professional certification is a big asset to career development and increased business opportunities. Accreditations help build credibility, increase earning potential, offer international recognition and open doors to new opportunities.

As a woman-owned business and example as a rising female entrepreneur, we are excited to announce that we have completed our certification with the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). This organization is the largest certifier of women-owned businesses in the U.S. and a leading advocate for women business owners and entrepreneurs. Having this certification validates that Alluvionic is at least 51 percent owned, controlled, operated and managed by a woman or women. This world-class certification standard is accepted by more than 1,000 corporations representing America’s most prestigious brands, as well as many states, cities and government entities. WBENC is also an approved Third-Party Certifier for the United States Small Business Administration (SBA) Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) Federal Contracting Program. In order for Alluvionic to achieve WBENC Certification, we had to complete a formal documentation and site visit process which was administered by one of WBENC’s 14 Regional Partner Organizations. WBENC Certification gives Alluvionic the ability to compete for real-time business opportunities provided by WBENC Corporate Members and government agencies.
Just as the ocean forms new land by the deposit of sand through its changing waves in a process called “Alluvion,” Alluvionic is making new changes in the company with the recent recruitment of top talent, Nick Eskew, its director of programs.
Alluvionic was one of four area companies selected this year to receive assistance from the NASA Technology Docking program.
The Economic Development Commission of Florida’s Space Coast’s (EDC) partners with NASA to identify companies for the program. These companies are able to leverage NASA expertise to solve a commercial technology challenge. The collaboration helps spur innovation on the Space Coast, stimulating the local economy and ensuring Brevard County remains competitive on a global scale.
