Alluvionic Team Runs in the Brevard County Corporate 5K for Second Year

The Alluvionic team participated in the 9th Annual “Florida Today Corporate 5K” on Thursday, April 18th. This year the race benefited The Children’s Hunger Project of Brevard, and Eau Gallie High School’s Aviation Program.  The 5K, also referred to as Brevard’s biggest office party, takes place annually on the runway of the Orlando-Melbourne International Airport, and this year featured live music, local food trucks, and free beer.   We love being a part of this event because it supports our community, promotes a healthy lifestyle, and is a great way to bring our team together for a great cause.

More about the Beneficiaries:

The Children’s Hunger Project

Each Friday The Children’s Hunger Project helps local elementary school children have food to take home with them for the weekend.  The food that is given is lightweight and requires no cooking.  The organization’s goal is to ensure that elementary school children be provided basic nutrition on the weekends.
