We’re honored to recognize Megan Patel as a one of LEAD Brevard’s 4 Under 40 Top 12, an achievement that reflects not only her professional leadership, but also her deep, long-standing commitment to serving the Brevard community.
In 2023, Megan joined the Alluvionic team after a successful career in real estate, intentionally shifting her professional focus toward human resources while continuing to actively support her children. She began part-time in recruiting, quickly standing out for her strong work ethic, responsiveness, and people-first approach. Her impact was immediate. Megan’s role expanded rapidly, and through several promotions she advanced to her current position as Director of Human Resources & Facility Security Officer, where she now serves on Alluvionic’s executive team while also overseeing HR, administration and facilities.
A Decade of Community Impact
While Megan’s professional growth has been impressive, her dedication to community service is equally defining. For more than a decade, Megan has invested her time, leadership, and energy into strengthening Brevard through meaningful civic involvement. She served with United Way Space Coast’s Emerging Leaders program for six years, including as Chair, helping engage early- and mid-career professionals in philanthropy, volunteerism, and leadership development. During her tenure, she played a key role in strengthening the program’s structure and sustainability—redesigning engagement strategies, expanding outreach, and building clear pathways for young professionals to become long-term community leaders.
Megan continues her service through the Brevard Achievement Center’s Arts Committee, where she supports programs that provide individuals with disabilities opportunities for creative expression, confidence building, and skill development. Her work helps elevate participant voices while advancing BAC’s mission of inclusion and empowerment. She also serves on the Indialantic Elementary School Advisory Council, contributing to school improvement planning, academic enrichment, and community partnerships that support student success in areas such as literacy and STEM.
In addition, Megan serves on the board of WeVENTURE, a women-owned organization that supports women entrepreneurs through mentorship, education, and access to resources. Working at a woman-owned small business, Megan has seen firsthand the impact of WeVENTURE’s support and is committed to giving back—helping other women build confidence, leadership skills, and sustainable businesses of their own.
A Vision for Brevard’s Future
Megan believes the future of Brevard is driven by its children and the opportunities we create for them today. She is passionate about supporting, guiding, and empowering young people so they can grow into leaders on their own terms. Her vision of leadership is one that invests forward—building confidence, opening doors, and creating pathways for what’s possible.
As Megan shares:
“When I think about the future of Brevard, the vision is driven by my children and all children of Brevard. I want them to see that there are opportunities for them and people who will support, guide, and empower them to lead.”
Megan’s recognition as a LEAD Brevard 4 Under 40 honoree reflects a career and a life rooted in service, leadership, and community impact. We are proud to celebrate her achievements and grateful for the lasting contributions she continues to make to Brevard’s present and its future.
