Competing for more than $30K in cash and in-kind prizes, Alluvionic’s President & CEO Wendy Romeu pitched her business venture at the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) Orlando Chapter’s PropelHER™ Pitch Competition, to a panel of judges representing varying industries and organizations. Presented by Herzing University, the event was held at Full Sail Live on Tuesday, January 16th to an excited crowd of hundreds of women entrepreneurs, business and community leaders, as well as those interested in supporting entrepreneurship and economic advancement. Kay Rawlins of Orlando City Soccer was the featured guest speaker and shared her thoughts on entrepreneurship.
Romeu was awarded as the runner-up, which provides her with the opportunity to leverage networking and valuable resources provided by NAWBO and the event sponsors, as well as a cash award.
