We are excited to kick off the New Year with increased momentum. So much has happened since our last newsletter. We closed 2017 exceeding all of our goals including revenue and headcount while we continue to increase our portfolio of projects ahead of the scheduled milestones.
We are also continuing to make headlines by raising the profile of our organization through speaking engagements at IHI (Institute for Health Care Improvement) and AIAA (American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics) conferences, as well as WeVENTURE’s Strong Women, Strong Coffee event. Additionally, I had the pleasure to participate as a finalist in the National Association of Women Business Owner’s PropelHER Pitch Competition in Orlando and was awarded as runner-up.
Our 2018 – 2020 strategy was rolled out to our team and they are excited to see the potential of Alluvionic and the opportunities that lay ahead.
Our engineering department has not only been hard at work taking care of our customers, but they have also been working on internal research and development projects. We have a patent pending technology that we believe will change the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and Aviation industries. Our Vice President of Engineering presented his whitepaper at the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) in January and has received a lot of interest from potential partners. More to come on this topic in the upcoming months.
We are pleased to announce the promotion of Carrie Wilson to Director of Operations, she has been a key part of our success and this is a great opportunity for her to grow with the company.
