Three-Day Interactive Course Teaches Fundamentals of Project Management Following the Project Management Institute’s Global Standard
Rise to new heights by taking the Alluvionic Project Management (PM) Bootcamp. This three-day interactive course is designed to teach the fundamentals of project management following the Project Management Institute’s (PMI)® global standard. Content is provided in a bootcamp format which integrates three types of information to optimize learning:
- PM process knowledge
- Customized, real-world exercises using PM tools and forms
- Project Management Professional (PMP)® Certification preparation
The PMP® Certification is one of the most well-known and recognizable certifications within the IT industry today connecting PMPs with a community of professionals, organizations and experts worldwide. Those with PMP® Certification garner a 20% higher salary on average than those without it. The United States ranks sixth in the 7th edition of the PMI®’s Project Management Salary Survey, which polled over 30,000 project managers from 29 different countries, citing a median salary for a PM Practitioner at $92,000. By contrast, in the U.S. that median salary is slightly higher at $105,000. Considering the median household income in the U.S. is $51, 017, the PM Practitioner’s salary represents significant earning potential.
Alluvionic’s Project Management Bootcamp is scheduled for April 26-28 from 9am – 5pm at the Eau Gallie Yacht Club, located at 100 Datura Drive in Indian Harbour Beach, FL, 32937. Registration is $995 per person. Laptops are available for rental at $99 if participants do not have one available with Microsoft Office. Visit www.alluvionic.com for more information or contact Kelli Klinger at 321-241-4510 or by email at kklinger@alluvionic.com. The direct registration link is http://conta.cc/2BLeeQ3.
Upon completion of the course and meeting PMI®’s requirements for education and professional experience, students are encouraged to apply for PMP® or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® certification. Obtaining professional certification is a big asset to career development and increased business opportunities. Accreditations help build credibility, increase earning potential, offer international recognition and open doors to new opportunities.
“The Project Management Bootcamp is designed to teach participants industry-standard project management and to prepare them to successfully complete the PMP® exam or CAPM® Certification. As project management experts, we will provide real-world experience and insight to help professionals understand and expand their knowledge areas, resource toolbox and ultimately become more successful project managers,” says Wendy Romeu, founder and president of Alluvionic.
Alluvionic is providing a risk-free opportunity – students who successfully complete the PM Bootcamp course, including the post-course assignments and do not pass the PMI® PMP® or CAPM® certification exam on their first-try, will be entitled to:
- Attend the course again for free or
- Receive one-on-one tutoring in specific knowledge areas. The certification exam must be taken at a PMI® approved test location within 90 days of taking the PM Bootcamp course.
The PMP® exam contains 200 questions, covering five domains with a four-hour time limit to complete. Upon completion, the global certification allows anyone to work in virtually any industry, with any methodology in any location. Unlike other certifications that focus on particular geography or domain, the PMP® is global providing a significant advantage.
