Woman-owned business finds success while focusing on improving lives
Melbourne, Fla. (February 8, 2023) – Alluvionic, Inc., a project management, process improvement, product development, cybersecurity and training services firm headquartered in Melbourne, FL, celebrated 10 years in business on February 8, 2023.
Started in 2013 by President and CEO, Wendy Romeu, Alluvionic was founded on the principles of doing the right things for the right reasons and making a positive impact on the lives of employees, clients and the community. In its first decade, the business has grown from a one-woman operation to a team of almost 50 employees. In 2023, Alluvionic will mark another growth milestone with the move from its current office space to its new state-of-the-art headquarters.
But growth in numbers is just one aspect of the company’s success. Its unwavering commitment to quality and service has made it a trusted partner in critical endeavors in industry and government programs. Examples include assisting in the creation of cancer screening equipment which aids in saving lives and supporting the U.S. Space Force in sending rockets to the moon more efficiently and safely, leading to new advances for mankind.
“At our core, Alluvionic is a vehicle to improve lives. We exist to make a difference through forward progress and innovation,” said Romeu. “These are not just words, this is the vision of what we are trying to accomplish with everything we do.”
Romeu attributes the company’s success to her dedicated team and their focus on customer satisfaction and community involvement. Romeu has served on several boards including Junior Achievement of the Space Coast, LEAD Brevard, WeVENTURE and has supported vital organizations like AMI kids, Habitat for Humanity, National Veterans Homeless Support, Children’s Advocacy Center of Brevard, and the Economic Development Commission of Florida’s Space Coast, just to name a few. Romeu also encourages staff to give back through serving on various boards throughout the community, as well as supporting staff through charitable endeavors.
“Our employees make a difference for our customers and our community by giving a ‘we have your back’ feeling. They get to see the relief and gratitude of a completed project saving hundreds of hours of work. They see customers completely speechless with gratitude,” said Romeu.
When asked what her vision is for the future of the company, Romeu answered, “My hope is that every day our clients, employees, and partners feel supported, heard and understood and know that they are part of something special.”
As the company looks ahead to the next decade, Romeu is confident that the company will continue to thrive and make a positive impact.
