Alluvionic placed 22nd on Florida State University’s (FSU) 2023 Seminole 100 list. This is the second consecutive year the company has landed on this prestigious list, boasting an impressive 75 spot jump from the 2022 edition. The Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship, part of the FSU College of Business, recognizes organizational excellence and achievement of the 100 fastest-growing FSU alumni-owned or alumni-led businesses. The list noted Alluvionic’s compound annual growth rate (CAGR) at an impressive 53.4%.
Honorees were recognized at the Seminole 100 Celebration on February 25 at the Florida State University Student Union. This annual event honors FSU’s entrepreneurs, allowing them to share valuable business insights with each other, while recognizing entrepreneurial achievement.
Started in 2013 by Wendy Romeu, Alluvionic recently celebrated its ten-year anniversary on February 8, 2023.
“The news of our jump in the FSU Seminole 100 ranking was truly humbling, especially as an FSU alum, ” said Romeu. “This success would not be possible without our dedicated team. I can’t wait to see where the next ten years will take us.”
Alluvionic was founded on the principles of doing the right things for the right reasons and making a positive impact on the lives of employees, clients and the community. In its first decade, the business has grown from a one-woman operation to a team of almost 50 employees. Applying her comprehensive knowledge of Project Management, Romeu and her team have effectively led extensive enterprise Process Improvement, CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration), PMO (Project Management Office) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) implementations for a wide range of clients in various industries. In 2015, the organization added engineering capabilities diversifying and rapidly accelerating the business, followed by the addition of cybersecurity capabilities in 2020.
In 2023, Alluvionic will mark another growth milestone with the move from its current office space to its new state-of-the-art headquarters in Melbourne, Florida.
