Alluvionic’s Year in Review: 2023

One milestone anniversary, one major move, one new addition (welcome baby boy!), and many goals accomplished. Alluvionic’s 2023 was a banner year for the company, our clients, and our Alluvionic Family. Join us as we reminisce over the exciting year at Alluvionic in our recap below.

Celebrating ten BIG years! On February 8, Alluvionic officially marked its tenth year in business. Founded in 2013 by President and CEO Wendy Romeu, Alluvionic was established on the principles of doing the right things for the right reasons and making a positive impact on the lives of employees, clients, and the community. This principle has guided our work. We have assisted in creating cancer screening equipment, contributing to saving lives. Additionally, we have supported operations of the U.S. Space Force to make spacecraft journeys safer and more efficient, resulting in new advances for mankind.

Speaking of major milestones, this year marked a significant move for Alluvionic—the transition into a brand-new headquarters. During a ribbon-cutting ceremony on October 4, Alluvionic, Inc. celebrated its next growth milestone with the move to its new 5,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art headquarters in Melbourne, Florida. It was an exciting day for the Alluvionic Family, as Romeu stated, “Opening our new headquarters is a testament to years of passion and dedication from the Alluvionic family. As I reflect over the last decade, I am proud to celebrate the accomplishments we haveachieved together and look forward to the coming years as we continue to improve lives and make a positive impact by harnessing our specialties.”

One thing we may be most proud of is being honored by various partners and organizations. In November, Alluvionic was celebrated by U.S. Acting Secretary of Labor Julie A. Su as one of the distinguished recipients of the 2023 HIRE Vets Platinum Award. Prior to this, in October, Alluvionic was thrilled to be named a finalist for the coveted International Project of the Year Award by the Project Management Institute (PMI) for our Launch Checklist Modernization Project for the 45th Space Launch Delta (45 SLD) and the United States Space Force (USSF). Of course, we were proud to once again be named among the Best Places to work in 2023 by the Orlando Business Journal, again recognizing our unwavering dedication to making a positive impact in the lives of our clients, employees, and partners.

Of course, Alluvionic is all about family, and this year was a big year for our employees! We welcomed 30 new staff members and celebrated the arrival of one new baby! Our team made a substantial impact in 2023, resulting in a 60% increase in company revenue through 89 projects and 59 successful deals. Our staff attended more than 50 events, speaking at 15 of these – and even hosting 6 of our own. Even through all this, our team managed 442 internal HR, admin, and marketing requests including 675 social posts on Facebook and LinkedIn and the creation of 28 blogs.

These numbers are amazing, and none of this would have been possible without our team, our clients, and our community. We are excited to see where 2024 brings us in our 11th year in business in our brand-new headquarters. Thank you for helping us make this year one of the best!
